I have compiled these resources on the Black Speech of Mordor in an effort to centralise linguistic knowledge of the subject and ease the task of learning the dark tongue. Most of the work here is not my own and is duplicated for the reasons stated above. As I finish, I plan on authoring documents of my own and combining the dialects into a common tongue, so as to give learners a starting point into the heavily dialecticised world of the Black Speech.

• Orkish and the Black Speech is a document analysing the samples of the dark tongue as attested by Tolkien himself by Norwegian philologist Helge Kåre Fauskanger.

• Shadowlandian Black Speech is a debased dialect based on several other online resources created by Scatha for The Land of Shadow.
